We’re beyond excited to announce that The Ragged Robin – our 31st Heartwood Inn and 6th pub with rooms– has officially spread its wings on the edge of the beautiful market town of Godalming. Nestled beside the River Wey, this charming riverside pub with rooms is the latest addition to our growing collection, and we couldn’t be more proud to share it with you.

Inside, you’ll find a stylish yet relaxed bar, light and airy dining spaces, and 19 beautiful bedrooms – each one full of personality, charm, and thoughtful touches. Outside, there’s a stunning riverside terrace that’s perfect for long, lazy lunches or golden-hour al fresco drinks, all set with the backdrop of the River Wey.

Yesterday, with the sun smiling down on us, we hosted an opening party to celebrate where guests were treated to fizz, sweet treats, and played with garden games as they explored our riverside garden and soaked up the sun.

There was even a sneak peek at a few of the beautifully refurbished bedrooms, and the festivities were officiated with a ribbon-cutting performed by the Mayor of Godalming and the Mayor of Waverley. We couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome into the community!

A breath-taking spot, the pub is also packed with ways to help you feel like this spot is a real home from home. There’s a brand-new outdoor bar, moorings for those arriving by boat, and even a dog wash for our four-legged friends who’ve been busy exploring the local countryside.
